Outside the tent, a timid soldier of the Xue army entered, and upon seeing a male infant lying beside the Great Khan, he muttered to himself, not knowing what to say. The Khan began to sense something unusual and summoned the shaman to enter and interpret the dream. The shaman, known as Kuo Kuo Chu, later became a target of Temujin's jealousy due to his arrogance and was ultimately killed by Temujin. "The Biography of Emperor Shengzu"

Genghis Khan ordered his eldest son Juchi to stay atop Burkan Khaldun Mountain for three days and nights to discern the will of heaven. However, Juchi was often ridiculed by his kin due to his unclear lineage, which instilled in him a sense of compassion and a desire for knowledge. On the fourth night, he returned to Burkan Khaldun Mountain. Under the bright moon, he saw a gray wolf nursing its cubs. It has been passed down through generations that the gray wolf is the ancestor of the Mongols. Juchi and his accompanying soldiers were all greatly astonished, and they dropped their arrows in reverence, not daring to disturb the scene. Yet, this matter remains shrouded in mystery, and even the emperor himself did not fully believe it.

He sighed and said: "The long and harmonious * map * of the heavenly decree indicates that this child will become the ruler of a nation! I dare not kill him, for I fear that the divine will punish my clan!"

The Emperor displayed extraordinary talents from a young age, yet he could only speak at the age of ten. He claimed the surname Zhao, and the Mongols named him "Buharhan" due to his rarity. Few among the Mongols were literate, yet the Emperor was able to create his own script in his youth, which astonished the Mongols, leading them to believe it was the will of heaven.

In the beginning, at the source of the Onon River, the various tribes convened and proclaimed him 'Genghis Khan'. Khan gathered his close associates and indulged in drinking for three days and three nights. One night, as spring thunder roared like a thousand tons, Khan, inebriated, fell into a deep sleep. The Eternal Blue Sky sent a dream, saying: 'I grant you the title of King of the Steppe, and this child shall be the ruler of a nation'

At that time, Temüjin's legitimate wife Börte was displeased and advised Temüjin to abandon it.
